We ordered goat curry and paneer curry, garlic naan. delicious! Strong flavor, not just salty. The chef also came out of the kitchen to check with each table about the dish. Pleasant experience, thank you.

The food was really nice had the lamb Rogan josh that had big chunks of lamb that was juicy and the sauce was so nice and spicy. Best curry I have had in a long time. The whole family enjoyed their meals. Will definitely come back. Great service also. Thank you for a great night out with the family.

We went for lunch with our toddler. The restaurant wasn’t busy at all, and the service was great. They accommodated our toddler well. The food came out very quickly. It was so good !! Great quantity, and quality. We spend just under 70 for the 3 of us and left satisfied! We will 100% be returning. I wish we took photos but we just ate so quickly hahaThank you for the great experience!

A culinary delight! Every dish was bursting with vibrant flavors, expertly spiced and cooked to perfection. The aroma of fresh herbs and spices filled the air, instantly setting the mood for an authentic experience. From the buttery naan to the rich curries and perfect biryani, every bite was a journey of taste. The service was warm and attentive, making the meal even more enjoyable. This place truly captures the essence of Indian cuisine – we’ll definitely be back!

Wow wow wow! We love mutton (goat) but never found a restaurant (except in India) which makes mutton well without smell and cooked to perfection. If you are a mutton lover, you must try their Goat Maharaja. Service was pretty quick too. Just that we had to ask for serviettes as they forgot to provide us with any. Atmosphere wise, when we entered it was super noisy and full but after some people left it was bit better. Overall, we would love to visit again to try other dishes :)

Found myself working over in the western suburbs, I'm from regional VIC and we don't really have Indian cuisine, it's hard to find a good Indian feed out here and if you find one it's usually expensive and average.I knew there had to be a great Indian restaurant in the area, a quick search on Google Maps located Chef Saab with a high average review rating.I'm a fiend for a lamb rogan josh, and my god did Chef Saab deliver the goods,Ordered 2x rose lasi, garlic naan, lamb rogan josh and coconut and lemon rice. Price is cheap as well, it was about 30 cheaper than what the Indian restaurants charge 'locally' to me.The food is fantastic, easily the best lamb rogan josh I've had in Melbourne, by far, the only other place I've been that equals Chef Saab was another Indian restaurant in Harris Park in Sydney, and I've been all over the country, we are lucky to have Chef Saab in Melbourne. If you want a great meal at a great price then Chef Saab is the best Indian restaurant in Melbourne for you.Keep up the great work guys,
